APC Commitment

Henkel Australia Pty Limited is committed to the Australian Packaging Covenant.  The 5 year plan concentrates on the objectives of the Packaging Covenant by following the performance goals:

• Design: Packaging optimized to achieve resource efficiency and reduced environmental impact without compromising product appearance, quality and safety.
• Recycling: the efficient collection and recycling of packaging.
• Product Stewardship: a demonstrated commitment to product stewardship.
• Develop system to accurately measure by the use of KPI’s, the amount and type of packaging materials we use in order to set realistic and achievable goals to reduce the impact on the environment.
• Actively encourage and inform our customers, suppliers and employees to understand the importance of the APC, waste reduction and recycling in general.
