The Industrial Technologies Division of The Henkel Corporation is seeking a qualified individual to join our sales team based in Western Australia. In this position, you will drive sales of Henkel brands and technologies, including LOCTITE® brand adhesives, sealants and coatings to industrial MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) market through a network of industrial distributors. We are now recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative – MRO to join our sales team based in WA. This role can be based in either Karratha, Port Hedland or Newman and will require regular travel.

What we offer

  • Execute key end user account management and project management. Service existing markets and increase penetration through the implementation of marketing promotions, programs and sales leads
  • Coordinate regular travel plan to cover the eastern Pilbara region (Newman, Tom Price & surrounding areas.) and coordinate group selling activities (i.e. Customer Training Schools & Seminars) while being familiar with all the features and benefits that Henkel products offer
  • Build and manage distributor relationships, motivate and train authorized industrial distributors to sell LOCTITE® brand products and solutions. Implement promotional and marketing programs through distribution, monitoring of success and measuring outcomes
  • Execute technical service calls, initiate reporting and maintenance of the company's reporting system which includes monthly report, projects in progress and seminar report
  • Replicate existing successful product applications and develop new opportunities through consultative sales methods. Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum of three (3) years' sales experience in a technical and industrial environment; with any relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications
  •  Familiarity with mine site safety procedures and protocols
  • Good presentation, communication and computer skills. Self-motivated, results oriented, dedicated and driven to succeed
  • Highly analytical with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space certification is preferred.
