As the Key Account Manager for the luxury salon-exclusive ALTERNA Haircare brand you will use your strategic selling skills to hunt and educate prospective customers on the benefits and value of the ALTERNA Brand. You will serve as a trusted adviser, share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make your existing key customers as strong and successful as possible. Consistently elevating the desirability of ALTERNA to acquire new customers, retain existing customers and drive sales in the luxury Haircare category. Leverage the upcoming exciting ALTERNA brand relaunch to the max.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within Key Account Management.
  • Previous experience in Luxury hair/health/beauty category and in selective retail (e.g. Sephora) or hair salon channels highly regarded.
  • Planogram/Merchandising experience.
  • Strong sales, communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisations skills and attention to detail.
  • MS office (Word, PowerPoint and Advanced level of Excel)
  • Team player with initiative and determination to succeed.
  • Ability to manage change and drive to continuously improve the current processes.
  • Willingness to travel - also for extended periods of time during a work week

Key Responsibilities

  • Enable strong teamwork in the ALTERNA ANZ team consisting of a Marketing and an Education Manager.
  • Develop sales plans and coordinate marketing strategies for defined key accounts, within the context of the overall corporate plan.
  • Develop, negotiate and implement effective promotional activity which forms part of the account planning process.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with key accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with key internal and external business partners building strong relationships; gaining alignment in delivering customer centric solutions.
  • Regularly review and report on sales performance, sales forecasts, market trends and field intelligence.
  • Provide approved training courses for clients on the company’s products and services.
