National Account Manager

Henkel's Beauty Care sales team is responsible for our distribution channels and customer relationship management. They implement various strategies and techniques to achieve commercial sales and gain a competitive foothold in the market, while providing support by educating our partners on our product value. Through their success, they help steer the growth of the Henkel business.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.

  • At least five (5) years of National Account Management experience.

  • Relevant experience with high volume retail customers – Woolworth or Coles experience highly regarded.

  • Established strong relationships within the Australian grocery industry and a strong negotiator with exceptional analytical and presentation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and direct strategies and build relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible in the development and implementation of short and long-term collaborative business plans.

  • Plan, monitor and maintain individual cost centre and utilize Trade Promotions budget allocated on an annual basis.

  • Develop, negotiate and implement effective promotional activity which forms part of the account planning process.

  • Leverage category data to generate category sales opportunities through effective collaboration with the customer marketing team and individual category analysis. Submit sales forecast along with the assumptions for sign off at monthly demand review meetings so that forecast accuracy benchmarks are achieved.

  • Work as a strategic partner building strong rapport, relationships and effective communication both internally and externally.
