YOUR ROLE
  • Lead the development of a strategic category growth plan including identifying category growth drivers based on sound consumer/shopper insights and ensure the internal brand agenda is aligned to category strategy.
  • On-going delivering of insight-based category development strategy across all point of purchase elements for each retailer that focus on short - medium term (1-3 year) opportunities and a long-term (3-5+ year) vision for category growth.
  • Drive the Brand/Pack/Price Strategy process to review promotional strategies and plans for our brands and key competitors across all key accounts deliver greater effectiveness in trade spend and increased category value for customers. 
  • Lead and deliver annual category promotional strategy and tactics that links to the Henkel budget process and our 4 Year Global Strategic Targets.  
  • Ensure robust commercial team processes are in place and provide a consolidated view of future performance through effective leadership of Category Planning Meetings.

  • Drive and influence the Shopper Marketing agenda with major accounts to enhance Henkel Laundry and Home Care customer relations and build retailer credibility

  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
  • Minimum of three (5) years’ experience in FMCG category development team leadership position
  • Ability to easily identify consumer behaviour and have a solid understanding of in store category requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to sell and influence and possess an analytical mindset
  • Superior commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
