As the Education Manager – ANZ, you will lead the education strategy across Australia and New Zealand, driving technical excellence, brand advocacy, and commercial growth across the salon network. You will shape a high-impact education vision, delivering innovative technical programmes and exceptional learning experiences that elevate Schwarzkopf Professional, Shiseido Professional, and the broader portfolio. Partnering closely with Sales and Marketing, you will position Education as a key growth engine—building salon capability, strengthening loyalty, and expanding Henkel’s presence across the industry. 

What you´ll do

  • Lead and execute the ANZ Education strategy, aligning with brand priorities and commercial goals while positioning
  • Henkel as a technical authority in the professional salon industry.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing Education team, fostering capability, creativity, and strong brand ambassadorship.
  • Oversee best-in-class technical education across Colour, Styling, and Care, delivering innovative programmes across academy, in-salon, digital, and event platforms aligned to global standards.
  • Partner with Marketing to build and manage a high-impact Ambassador programme, including talent identification, development, content creation, and performance management.
  • Cultivate a strong Henkel talent network of artists, influencers, and emerging stylists, ensuring brand alignment and commercial contribution.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive salon capability, customer acquisition, and share of wallet, embedding education into commercial growth strategies.
  • Build strategic relationships and represent Henkel across industry events, partnerships, and key platforms to enhance brand presence and credibility.
  • Ensure operational excellence through effective budget management, resource planning, consistent delivery standards, and robust reporting and performance measurement.

What makes you a good fit

  • 8–12 years’ experience in professional hair or technical education, with a strong track record in designing and delivering impactful salon education programmes.
  • Proven experience managing ambassadors, artists, influencers, or technical talent, with the ability to build and nurture high-performing networks.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, particularly with Sales teams, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including confident on-stage and on-camera delivery.
  • Experience in digital education, hybrid learning models, and content creation or event production is highly regarded.
  • Well-connected within the ANZ salon and creative community, with experience operating in global or matrixed environments considered an advantage.
