What you´ll do
The Quality Manager provides strategic leadership for all quality functions at the site, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This role owns the end-to-end Quality Management System while driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. The position plays a critical role in aligning quality with business performance and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drives Quality strategy and targets in area of responsibility and uses appropriate reporting tools
- Set & Execute Quality Strategy
- Define and deploy site quality strategy aligned with global standards and business objectives
- Establish KPIs, reporting systems, and governance to drive performance and accountability
- Lead Quality Systems & Compliance
- Own the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO, IATF, CMMC, and customer-specific requirements
- Ensure audit readiness and help manage internal, external, and customer audits
- Govern Management Review to align leadership on quality performance and risks
- Provide executive oversight of Non-Conforming Material Management (NCMR), customer complaints (CCMS), and supplier quality (SCMS) processes
- Ensure disciplined problem-solving (FRPS/A3/8D), effective containment, and sustainable corrective actions
- Lead response to major quality events, including product escapes, recalls, and customer escalations
- Champion quality related continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced statistical methods (SPC/SQC) and principles.
- Reduce waste, improve capability across the quality laboratory operations.
- Ensure and support robust quality planning through FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and change management (MOC)
- Oversee specification and customer requirement review and integration into operations
- Support product development and scale-up to ensure quality is built into design and execution
- Lead Quality Infrastructure projects
- Ensure effective laboratory operations, testing protocols, and release systems
- Manage calibration, MSA, document control, and training systems to sustain compliance and capability
- Oversee critical equipment reliability and quality-related capital planning
- Build and lead a high-performing quality team
- Drive training, competency development, and a culture of quality ownership across all functions
- Partner across supported businesses.
- Act as a key member of the site leadership team
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to deliver customer and business outcomes
- Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., MES/Smart Factory) to enhance data integrity, traceability, and real-time quality control
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO, IATF 16949, HACCP)
- Experience on non-conformance, customer complaint, and supplier quality systems
- Root cause analysis and structured problem solving (FRPS, A3, 8D) experience
- Experience with Statistical methods (SPC/SQC) and quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans)
- Experience with Management of Change
- Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive measurable business results

The salary for this role is $115,000.00- $160,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
