Henkel Australia has donated 50,000 euros and more than 30,000 laundry and hair care products to victims of the bushfires in Australia.

Doing our part for Australia bushfire crisis
The ongoing bushfires across Australia have had devastating impacts on vast land, human lives and wildlife. At this moment, we are relieved that our employees and sites are safe and have advised all employees in Australia of the safety precautionary measures.
Thankfully, we believe the fires are unlikely to affect any of our sites directly as most of the fires are occurring in forest areas and national parks, whereas our sites are located in metropolitan areas.
Whilst our business continues as usual, many others have been impacted directly and our employees have initiated various efforts to help the local communities.
- Henkel Australia has donated 50,000 euros to the Australian Red Cross Society to support 69 evacuation and recovery centres in providing temporary accommodation, food, water and other relief efforts.
- Laundry & Home Care Australia has donated 15,000 units of Cold Power detergents to Foodbank Australia for distribution to people affected by the bushfires in in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
- The Retail and Professional divisions of Beauty Care Australia have joined forces to donate around 15,000 units of hair products to Foodbank Australia. They comprise of shampoos and conditioners from our Schwarzkopf Extra Care, Bonacure and Alterna brands.
